Welcome to Pink Door Pottery, the creative home of Catherine Rush.

In a studio with a pink door I play with clay. Sometimes friends come and play too.

Located west of Sydney in the beautiful Blue Mountains, we make functional and decorative pieces. You can see examples of our work here.

On November 7 2026, 10am to 4pm, we are participating in the annual Open Studio Trail organised by the Australian Ceramics Association. More details will available soon.

The Open Studio Trail is an opportunity for you to come and visit us. Sip a cup of tea and nibble on a biscuit as you browse the many pieces for sale in our covered courtyard. There will be something for everyone, including

- a Lucky Dip for those who can't make up their minds

- a Seconds Table for those who love a bargain

- a chance to decorate your own Christmas ornaments

- sculptural and decorative pieces

- gifts for those who garden or sew and, of course,

- an array of mugs, bowls, plates and vases.

It will be the perfect chance to buy unique and hand-crafted Christmas presents. We look forward to meeting you.
